Meet The Team

The Life Skills for Puppies classes are run and taught by the Animal Behaviour Clinic team.

Lynn Hewison

Lynn teaches on both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at the University, is the Programme Lead for our MSc in Clinical Animal Behaviour and also consults in our Behaviour Clinic. She has a BSc in Animal Behaviour Science and an MSc in Clinical Animal Behaviour. She owns two dogs and has years of training experience through teaching classes and working within rescue shelters.



Kevin McPeake

Kevin works in our Animal Behaviour Clinic where he sees canine and feline behaviour referrals and is currently undertaking a PhD in canine behaviour. Kevin qualified as a vet from the University of Glasgow in 2005 and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling from the University of Southampton University in 2011.



Julia Pounder

Julia has an MSc in Clinical Animal Behaviour and works in our Animal Behaviour Clinic and is likley the person you have spoken to when booking. She has taught classes at the University and has previously run her own business teaching classes including Life Skills for Puppies. At home Julia has 5 dogs who she enjoy training too.
